The Association of Learner-Centered Virtual Schools (ALCVS) is an accreditation entity with a focus on continuous improvement, learner-centered methodology, and innovative technology to improve both communication and learning. The ALCVS is dedicated to supporting schools that holistically serve their students while allowing learner choice wherever possible. We are committed to finding a scalable way through online technology for students, guardians, and faculty in its member schools to thrive in supportive and challenging environments that push every party beyond the limits of presumed possibility.
To maintain this high standard, we scientifically and qualitatively measure each of our member schools multiple times per year. We hold independent studies of both student and guardian satisfaction in addition to multiple checks of overall academic quality. When a college sees the ALCVS stamp of approval, they will know the student is a mature, confident, ambitious learner.
